Biography: Alex is a hospital chaplain and caring clown at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Boise, Idaho. He has been a plenary speaker and workshop leader at universities, businesses, and hospitals throughout the United States; and has presented at the national conferences of the largest professional chaplain's organizations in the United States and Canada. He is always ready to adapt his primary training presentations (Using humor to remain whole, The caring use of humor in ministry/pastoral care, and The therapeutic use of humor in healthcare) for a variety if audiences and settings. To keep his balance in life he enjoys playing drums in a band, competing at backgammon, and surviving the final stages of parenting (one's married and gone, two are teenagers at home...pray for him and his wife!)
