Laugh & Learn with AATH
We thank everyone who joined us at the 2007 AATH Annual Conference and who helped kick off our 20th Anniversary Celebration!
For the past 20 years, AATH has been "Makin' Waves", bringing together individuals who study and integrate compassionate humor and laughter into the caring communities of healthcare, education, business and spirituality (faith communities). AATH and its members believe that humor and laughter do have a place in creating healthier, more effective, more productive and more fun environments in which to live and work!
Many "practitioners" of therapeutic humor and laughter come to our conferences to sharpen their skills and take advantage of the extensive networking opportunities. Some people come to our conference because they're "hurting" - perhaps coping with a life challenge such as a serious illness or a recent loss. And, some folks come to our conference because it just sounds like a lot of fun (which it most definitely is), something refreshing, positive and different!
AATH is serious about therapeutic humor and laughter. But if you've ever been to one of our conferences, you know that we love to laugh and learn. And if you've never been to one of our conferences but you are genuinely interested in learning more about the study and application of therapeutic humor and laughter, now is the time to check us out!
We personally guarantee that you will meet some of the most interesting, down to earth folks who are doing some truly wonderful work to help lighten the load of a stressed out society in a tightly wound world. Membership applications are available on our site or call the office at 609-392-0200 for more information.
Happy Birthday, AATH!
